thanks for the comments.. this should go to the blog section.. but anyway.. the site does not use e-mail verification for new users.. because it's cumbersome for most people.. before the upgrade, there was no way to ban members effectively so there were alot of those scammers, etc. The new site can ban people from certain places so those should not be a problem. Yesterday, there was one sign up from Senegal..sending random crap... she (or he who knows) has been banned and can't sign up again. Also before the upgrade, there was no administrator for about a year (that would be me). surprising that the site worked for a year without any intervention whatsoever. Now, I'm administrating it so it will be a better experience for everyone. Any advice would be appreciated!
